MIGRATING FINANCIALS
We offer several options for the migration of financials. The most cost-effective option is to migrate open transactions at the cutover date, and Trial Balances for historical comparisons. While the migration of historical transactions is an option and something we have years of experience doing, from platforms such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics and SAGE, the process can be extremely time-consuming and expensive depending on how “clean” the source data is and how many transactions are needed. Talk to your implementation lead if you require historical transaction detail. DATA LIMITS NetSuite does not have a limit on the number of records that can be migrated or stored in their system. Allied Cloud migrated more than 10 million records for one customer, with no limits on the migration and no noticeable impact on account performance. Keep in mind that mass data migrations often require unique strategies and connectivity between NetSuite and the source system or system.
